George John Kappas, M.A., M.F.T. is the Director of Behavioral Science Centers and its college/clinic, the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI). Serving the Los Angeles community since 1967, HMI is home to more than 75 Hypnotherapists in private practice and has provided over 250,000 hours of private/individual hypnotherapy services.
Under Mr. Kappas’ direction, HMI has earned the distinction of becoming the first college and clinic of hypnotherapy to achieve National Accreditation by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Mr. Kappas’ responsibilities as director of HMI include lecturing, clinical supervision, publication, and research.

Leigh is a behavioral scientist, life coach, hypnotherapist, and Certified Therapeutic Imagery Facilitator specializing in helping others to achieve a state of outer balance and inner harmony. His approach to therapy and coaching encourages clients to tap into their own inner resources with the goal of self-reliance and personal power. He graduated from and has maintained a decade long affiliation with the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, and works with the American Hypnosis Association.
